It is December and the Christmas Season is upon us. I love Christmas! It is my favorite time of year because so many hearts turn a little more to our Savior. Even with the over commercialization of Christmas so many around the world do take the time to remember who's birth we are celebrating. Even though the world's focus may not be directly on the Savior at Christmas, they seem to remember Him a little more as they listen to Christmas music, go to church on Christmas, and read the scriptures about His birth. Though they are little it seems to bring a different spirit into the air at Christmas.
I want to challenge each of us to focus a little more on our Savior. Try to be more like him by serving someone else. And make room for Him in our hearts this Christmas season. It will make our Christmas all the sweeter as we turn to our Savior.
President Monson said, "There is no better time than now, this very Christmas season, for all of us to rededicate ourselves to the principles taught by Jesus the Christ. It is the time to love the Lord our God with all our heart—and our neighbors as ourselves. It is well to remember that he who gives money gives much, he who gives time gives more, but he who gives of himself gives all. Let this be a description of our Christmas gifts."
May you find joy in this Christmas season as you find room for Christ in your life. Merry Christmas!!
