There were lots of cute little music groups that were dressed up and performing in the street.
I am so jealous of their fur because it was so cold I bet that kept them warm and it's cute!
The Royal Guard was present because Queen Victoria was there so of course they were there are well.
Saint Nicolas was there. There were actually several around or he changes costumes a lot.
That girl's legs must be cold!
How cute are they?
Random people in cool costumes.
I like the bike or should I say trike?
These two were funny. I loved their pose!
A kilt! And I thought I was cold.
Some fun merchandise we say while defrosting in a store.
This sign is my favorite!
Mardi Gras colors.
This street performer was pretty good. Juggling fire.
I love the lady in the red in the background's expression.
Our friend "Michael" (in the top hat) helping the performer climb his unicycle. You can also see the guys beanie being knocked off as he used his head as a handrail.
And he made it up!
Then he juggled fire up there.
They had a bird show. Here is the owl. Great picture or the owl's wingspan. No?
Well, here's another in case that wasn't good enough for you.
I don't know if you can tell as well in this pic but the owl's head is turned around backward. I knew they could do that but seeing a real owl do it made it more impressive.
Lenny and Squiggy the vultures. I have a new appreciation for vultures after watching the show. I didn't realize what a tremendous help to the environment they are by eating rotting flesh and sterilizing the bacteria. Pretty amazing creatures.
I want a muff so bad! Look how warm their hands are in those. Now you know what you can get me for Christmas. A hand muff in the tan; it goes with more things. :)
This shot to me summarizes the Dickens experience. This is what the street looks like with people in costumes and others not just walking around and having a great time.
This guy was trying to get us to go to a shop with some items especially for the gentlemen. We passed.
This drummer was pretty good.
Here are the judges (at the table) for the Costume Contest and the Thrifts who sponsor the contest. there is the queen on the end.
This little guy was my favorite of the family section of the competition. So cute.
I did like this dress though too,
This was a "magic" show that we watch. It was fun to watch but I was able to figure out how he did 90% of his tricks which is saying something if I can catch it. Still fun to watch though.
Here's another St Nick walking around. He does look warm. Though compared to the North Pole it was probably hot for him.
Then there was this guy.
And that folks is the last of the pictures. Are you sad? I know I am a little bit because I have to wait till next year to do it again.
